Visas for Traveling to South Korea

Are you planning to visit South Korea in 2024? If so, you might be wondering what kind of visa you need to enter the country. In this blog post, we will explain the visa requirements for different types of travelers and how to apply for them.

First of all, you should know that South Korea has a visa waiver agreement with many countries, which means that citizens of those countries do not need a visa to visit South Korea as a tourist for up to 90 days .
You can check if you need a visa, along with other information here!

If you are not from a visa-exempt country or you want to stay longer than 90 days or work in South Korea, you will need to apply for a visa at the nearest Korean embassy or consulate in your country. There are different types of visas depending on your purpose of visit, such as tourist visa, working holiday visa, student visa, work visa, etc.

To apply for a visa, you will need to fill out an application form, prepare the necessary documents (such as passport, photo, invitation letter, etc.), pay the application fee, and submit them to the embassy or consulate. The processing time may vary depending on the type of visa and the volume of applications. You can track the status of your application online here: https://www.immigration.go.kr/immigration_eng/index.do
